Multan: Seasonal influenza death toll escalates to 21
Sources told that 113 patients have been admitted to the hospitals.
MULTAN (Dunya News) – The outbreak of seasonal influenza has continued to take lives in Multan, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan as at least 21 people have been fallen prey to the disease in three weeks.
The increasing cases of seasonal influenza, among which three doctors are also included, are creating fear among the administration of Nishtar Hospital as the disease is rapidly spreading across the metropolis.
Sources told that 113 patients have been admitted to the hospitals so far whereas the non-availability of vaccination is also causing problem.
The doctors have advised the residents to take precautionary measures and also urged them to hold their proper checkup for timely identification of the disease.
