Karachi: Firing incidents claim 8 more lives

In various incidents of firing in Karachi, 8 more people including a police official got killed. Three dead bodies were also recovered from separate areas of Karachi.

In the limits of Latif Town police station, a police constable Akram Abbas was shot dead by firing of unidentified persons on a railway track near Zafar Town; while another person got killed due to firing in the area of Gulsha-e-Iqbal. A youngster was shot dead by dacoits upon resistance in Teeser Town. In New Karachi’s area Bilal Colony, Akbar shot dead his wife and his sister-in-law. Three dead bodies from various areas of Karachi were also recovered which were killed due to firing and one dead body is identified as Zahid Lashari. Two people got injured due to firing at Hassan Square Food Street.
