Nato Container Case: Goods transportation by private firms banned

A new development in the Nato Container Case has come to the fore. The Customs authorities in Karachi have banned the transportation of goods by the private firms instead of NLC, Dunya News reported.

According to an order issued by Collector Customs South, Razia Sultana, the contract of goods transportation permitted to the private firms by the NLC has been banned. This decision has been taken after the exposition of Nato container scandal.Former chief collector had permitted the transportation of goods to NLC through private companies.First of all, Dunya News unveiled the issue of smuggling and missing of containers in Nato containers case.
