LAHORE (Dunya News) – After a successful Lahore visit, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar is all set to leave for Multan to inspect facilities at judicial complex.

Sources told that the CJP will depart for Multan today (Wednesday).

On Tuesday, the chief justice along with Chief Secretary Zahid Saeed had paid a visit to emergency, medical and surgical wards of Mayo Hospital in Lahore after hearing clean water case at Supreme Court (SC) registry.

During the visit, CJP scolded chief secretary for combine wards of males and females and ordered to separate them on immediate basis.

Saqib Nisar said that provision of health and clean water facilities should be first priority of the government and that no negligence in this regard will be tolerated.

Earlier, while hearing the case pertaining to clean water in Punjab, CJP asked the provincial government what steps it has taken for boosting health and education sectors. He remarked, “Do you know how much Arsenic is being used in drinking water.”
