Lahore: 3 labourers electrocuted in under-construction factory
Two of the deceased were residents of Bhakkar while the third belonged to Jhang.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Three labourers were electrocuted in Sundar area of Lahore on Monday during work in an under-construction factory, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the labourers received electric shock when a 30-foot frame touched a live wire during shuttering, killing three labourers on the spot and critically injuring three other.
The deceased were identified as Mehboob, Qaisar Abbas and Shakeel while Tariq, Abdul Razzaq and Azhar were critically injured. Police sources said that two of the deceased were residents of Bhakkar while the third belonged to Jhang.
Rescue teams shifted the injured to Jinnah Hospital. Residents of the area were of the view that poor safety measures during the construction work caused the incident.
