(Web Desk) – With the inquiry report of the Model Town incident being made public following the orders of the Lahore High Court, a new Pandora box has opened and the negative effects of the disclosure may be very harmful for Shehbaz Sharif and the Punjab Government, according to analysis presented in Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Saath.

Analysing the Model Town inquiry commission’s report that has added to the political confusion in the country, it was revealed in DKKS that the report indicates contradictions between the Chief Minister’s affidavit and the statements given by the police.

Legal expert and analyst, Saad Rasool said that declaring the report as damaging for the government would be an understatement, both politically and legally.

Rasool analysing futher on the political as well as legal aspects of the report that it categorically states that the affidavit presented by CM Shehbaz Sharif before the tribunal claimed that he ordered disengagement, something which is not corroborated by statements given by the police or by the provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah.

The contradictions opening a new Pandora box have made the situation very volatile in an already tense political atmosphere.

According to experts, the report will have its political and legal consequences that will be apparent in the near future.
