Sukhekhi: Woman attempts suicide after slitting throats of three children
The neighbours said that the victim family often had disputes due to their extreme poor condition.
SUKHEKHI (Dunya News) – An implacable woman on Saturday attempted suicide after cutting throats of her three children over poor domestic conditions in Sukhekhi’s Jhal Mona area.
Two-year-old Ahmed
The woman took her children to the canal and threw them into it after slitting their throats. She also attempted to commit suicide but was immediately shifted to the hospital.
Six-year-old Zahra Fatima
Getting information about the incident, police personnel arrived at the scene and launched operation to recover bodies of the children. The neighbours said that the victim family often had disputes due to their extreme poor condition.
Four-year-old Faizan
Recording his statement, woman’s husband said his wife was taking the children for outing when he left the home for work.
The officers said that investigation into the matter has been started to unearth the actual facts.
