Hina refrains from becoming LHC judge

Hina Jilani, a senior lawyer and the sister of Supreme Court Bar Association President Asma Jahangir, has declined the offer of becoming the judge of the Lahore High Court.

In a letter to the Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Hina wrote that she is busy in humanitarian work, besides her sister Asma Jahangir is the president of the Supreme Court Bar Association.So it is not appropriate for her to accept the office. She thanked the Chief Justice LHC for recommending her name for the office.
