Workers protest against the proposed privatization of FESCO

Hundreds of workers of the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company protested the proposed plans to privatize the company.

FESCO workers took out a protest rally from Kachari bazaar to the District Council Chowk. The workers were chanting slogans against the privatization of the company. They said that the privatization of FESCO is all part of a conspiracy and the necessary paper work is being carried out despite the protests.FESCO workers threatened the federal government that if they press ahead with the privatization of FESCO, then there will be a complete power breakdown and the FESCO administration will be responsible for it.
