SHC grants protective bail of Moonis

Sindh High Court (SHC) approved protective bail of former Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahis son Moonis Elahi involved in NICL corruption case.

Moonis Elahi filed a petition in SHC seeking a protective bail so that he can present before the investigation team to clear his position after his return to country from Malaysia. The court has granted 3-week protective bail of Moonis Elahi. He informed the court that all cases against him are baseless and he was not involved in any corruption.Earlier, Moonis Elahi has filed a petition, submitting that FIA has obtained proclamation orders for the arrest of Moonis who was abroad at that time due to his personal engagements. FIA misled the court during the hearing to obtain the orders against Moonis, who will be back soon.On the other hand, Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik granted the bails of accused of NICL corruption scam.
