PTI will never be the part of this process, said Shah Mahmood.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Wednesday has claimed that the name of Director General Intelligence Bureau Aftab Sultan is on the top of the list for the appointment of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) new chairman.

Rejecting the names given by government and opposition parties, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said PTI was not taken into confidence over the matter. He alleged that everything has been settled down between government and opposition.

PTI will never be the part of this process, he added.

Shah Mahmood further predicted that new NAB chief will be Qamar-uz-Zaman part 2 while he also said that Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khurshid Shah had earlier confessed that PTI was not asked to submit their names.

Earlier, Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi met Syed Khursheed Shah discussed with him appointment of new chairman of NAB. Shah said that he consulted all the political parties except MQM and PTI and hoped that the name of new chairman NAB will be finalized very soon.

Shah also called upon Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and briefed him about his meeting with the prime minister in connection of appointment of new chairman NAB.
