KARACHI (Dunya News) – The classes in Aisha Bawany College could not be resumed on the fifth day as students and teachers conducted the lessons on road outside the institution on Wednesday.

The future of as many as 1050 students is at stake as the dispute between the trust administration and government could not be resolved. Protests are also being carried out against the administration.

The faculty members and pupils sat in front of the main gate of the college that has been welded together to keep it shut, and started the classes there.

Teachers are also worried over the uncertain future of their students, and the disciples are requesting the administration to reopen the college in order to save their academic year.

Let it be known that the conflict erupted between Aisha Bawany Trust and education department over non-payment of Rs 50,000 per month as rent which had accumulated to Rs8,400,000.
