Nowshehra: ASI and 2 suspects killed in police shootout

In the area of Charat, Nowshehra, a gun-battle took place between police and wanted suspects due to which an ASI and 2 wanted suspects got killed, Dunya News reported.

Police raided the area of Jaroba to arrest some wanted suspects, after which suspects opened fire at police party. As a result of this firing, ASI Zahir Ali was killed instantly; where as three other police officials sustained injuries and were later shifted to Lady Reading Hospital. During this crossfire, two wanted suspects were also killed, and there dead bodies have been shifted to the police stations. According to the police, this gun-battle continued till one hour.
