National Assembly Standing Committee on Trade asked the NLC and Defence Ministry to present the report under which law the Aisaf and NATO containers passes through Pakistan.

National Assembly Standing Committee on Trade under the chairmanship of Khurram Dastagir, the committee reviewed various aspects of Pak-Afghan Transit Trade agreement.Additional Secretary of Defence told the committee that an MoU was inked between Pakistan and British regarding Aisaf and NATO and the former President Pervaiz Mushraff has approved it. NLC official told the committee that seven to eight thousand containers passes through Pakistan daily. The committee has summoned that FBR chairman and Federal Minister for Defence for next hearing.
