Islamabad: Ulema protests against nonpayment of allowance

Participating ulema of the Seerat Conference held in Islamabad protested against nonpayment of allowance to them.

Ulema were of the view that officials of Ministry of Religious Affairs had money with them but they didn’t pay it to them. They were expecting this allowance for residence, food and travel purposes.On this occasion, Maulvi Ghulam Yaseen of Karachi said that all the expenses of participating ulema of the Seerat Conference should have been paid by government but this time, this wasn’t happen. Ulema said that they will protest in front of the Convention Centre if the allowance is not paid.
