3 militants killed, 4 arrested in CTD operation in Karachi
Three terrorists were killed and four were arrested in exchange of fire with CTD Karachi on Sunday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - At least three militants were killed and four other were taken into custody in an encounter with Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel in Machar Colony area of Maripur in Karachi on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
According to in charge CTD Mazhar Mashwani, CTD personnel conducted an operation in Machar Colony area of Maripur during which the militants opened fire. The CTD personnel returned the fire as a result three militants were killed and four were apprehended.
The CTD also recovered arms from the militants. The in charge CTD further informed that the identity of the dead militants in not yet known. However, the arrested suspects were taken to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
