From Panama to Iqama, corruption is everywhere: Firdous Ashiq Awan

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the corruption story of Sharif family is everywhere from Panama to Iqama.
Firdous Ashiq expressed her views in Dunya News program On The Front with Kamran Shahid, and said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif did not mention about his Iqama in the documents that he submitted in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
PTI leader continued that the Supreme Court (SC) gave chance to Sharif family to prove the allegations wrong after the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report, and to verify what they used to say before media, but they failed to submit any evidence.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali said that accusations have been levelled against Nawaz Sharif for many decades, and conspiracies are hatched against him whenever the country starts making progress under his leadership. He also said that JIT report has not made any allegation against the premier.
A heated discussion was held between Firdous Ashiq Awan and Abid Sher Ali in the program. Analyst Shahzad Chaudhry commented that no person in this country has ever been held accountable, it is only the term of accountability that is used.
