Sargodha: Heirs stage sit-in against abduction of newborn
Heirs of newborn kidnapped from DHQ Hospital Sargodha staged a sit-in in front of the hospital.
SARGODHA (Dunya News) – Heirs of a newborn, who was kidnapped a day earlier, staged a sit-in in front of the District Headquarters Hospital on Wednesday.
According to details, some unidentified women had kidnapped a newborn from the Children Ward of the DHQ Hospital Sargodha on Tuesday. The parents of the child staged a protest against abduction upon which police ensured the parents of recovery of their child. Police failed to recover the child after which the parents of the newborn along with their relative staged a sit-in in front of the DHQ Hospital.
The Emergency Ward of the hospital was closed due to protest causing severe problems for other patients. A heavy contingent of police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
