Ban on plastic bags in Quetta may inflict misery on bag-dealers

The Quetta district administration imposed a ban on the use of plastic bags. However, this ban will take a toll from the people who are linked with the business of plastic bags.

According to Dunya News, plastic bags seller earn Rs 100 to 200 per day but the ban on plastic bags leave them uncertain about their living. They said that they were given only a week to wrap up their business, afterwards they won’t be allowed to continue. Several men in Quetta, regardless of their age, sale plastic bags to make the both ends meet. They say that the ban on plastic bags will starve their families.
