Hot, dry weather likely in most parts of country

Weather will remain dry and hot in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted dry and hot weather in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, Dunya News reported.

The Met Office said that a shallow westerly wave is still affecting Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas and likely to persist during 48 hours. Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at a few places in Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, FATA and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country during the past 24 hours. Dadu, Sh. Benazirabad, Larkana remained the hottest places in the country with mercury soaring up to 47°C.
