MQM Qaid Altaf Hussain said that education is must for progress and seeking knowledge is imperative to become a superpower.He said that his brother and nephew were killed in 1995 after torture but instead of taking revenge, he re-modeled this home into library and research institute.

MQM Qaid Altaf Hussain said that education is must for progress and seeking knowledge is imperative to become a superpower.He was addressing to a gathering of MQM workers via telephone from London on the occasion of launching ceremony of Nasir Hussain and Arif Hussain Research Centre that has been established by MQM.Altaf said that his brother and nephew were killed in this home after torture, but, he did not take revenge and instead shaped this home into library. He said that MQM has set the practical example of providing education to people. He said that feudals demolished schools and health centres to enlarge their stables but MQM established educational institutes.Altaf reiterated that it is necessary to get knowledge if we want to become superpower otherwise we will always remain into the servitude of foreign powers.
