Searing heat to hit parts of country, predicts Met office

The concerned department has warned the locals of severe hot weather.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Blistering heat and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country including Sindh, South and East Punjab today (Tuesday).

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the mercury will rise in different areas however, light rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Makran, Kalat, Larkana, Rawalpindi, Sargodha divisions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

The maximum temperature in Karachi would be between 35 to 37 degrees whereas it will escalate to 43 degrees in Lahore.

The concerned department has warned the locals of severe hot weather and advised them to take precautionary measures to beat the heat.
