Pakistan, Sri Lanka need to strengthen cooperation in various fields: PM
PM Nawaz also expressed his satisfaction over the present level cooperation between both countries
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – PM Nawaz Sharif has on Wednesday stressed upon further enhancement of cooperation between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in various fields.
He let it be known while talking to Commander of Sri Lankan Army Lt General A.W.J De Silva, who called on PM Nawaz in Islamabad.
At the occasion, the prime minister professed that both Pakistan and Sri Lanka should work jointly in order to achieve regional peace and stability.
PM Nawaz also expressed his satisfaction over the present level cooperation between both the countries during the meeting.

The prime minister however emphasized that both Pakistan and Sri Lanka should further strengthen the defence related cooperation.
At the occasion, the Commander of Sri Lankan Army expressed his thanks to the prime minister for the warm welcome extended to him during the visit to Pakistan.
Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif and the National Security Advisor Lt General (retd) Nasser Janjua were also present at the meeting.
