Davis case: Initial probe report submitted to magistrate
An investigation team submitted its initial report to the judicial magistrate regarding US national Raymond Davis shooting case, Dunya News reported on Friday. The investigation officer (IO) Muneer Ahmed said in the report that the accused is clever and not cooperating with the investigative team. The report said that the US national Raymond Davis had not opened fire in his defence adding that he is not a diplomat neither the security agencies were cognizant of his visit to the area where the incident happened. Sources said that the people and the vehicle that rushed to Davis for his help were not yet handed over to the police and the US Consulate in Lahore is also not cooperating in the inquiry despite several letters written to the mission from the provincial government.
