Lahore: Inquiry commission's investigation on land scandal completes
Dunya News had broken the news report regarding land scam of 193,000 kanals, CJ had taken notice
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Inquiry commission set up for investigating the largest land scandal in Pakistan’s history has on Tuesday completed its inquiry. The report had been first aired by Dunya News regarding land scam of 193,000 kanals and Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Mansoor Ali Shah had taken the notice, reported Dunya News.
The commission chief Abid Hussain Qureshi will present the report to Justice Mansoor Ali Shah in the coming few days. Victims of the scam including Junaid Bari and Mian Aftab got their statements recorded before the commission. The alleged perpetrator Chaudhry Arshad also presented his statement before the commission.
The commission chief Abid Hussain Qureshi said that the investigations were transparent.
