The parliamentary committee formed for the appointment of judges in higher judiciary has approved on the proposal of judicial commission the appointment of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani and senior judge Amir Hani Muslim in the Supreme Court. The meeting of Parliamentary Committee was held under the chairmanship of Nair Bukhari in which proposals of the judicial commission for the appointment of judges in the higher courts were reviewed. The Committee approved to appoint Justice Musheer Alim as Chief Justice of Sindh High Court. The issue of extension in the tenure of 27 additional judges of Sindh, Peshawar and Lahore would be finalized tomorrow.
