Rangers recover huge cache of weapons from shop in Karachi

Rangers Spokesman has appealed the nation to assist in eliminating the terrorist activities.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers officers on Friday have recovered huge cache of weapons during raid at shop on Karachi’s Nishtar Road.

According to Rangers spokesman, the arms were hidden by the facilitators of Muttahida Qaumi Movement London (MQM) which were to be used for spreading unrest and target killing in the metropolis.



The recovered weapons include four rifles, two 22-bore rifles, six SMGs, seven 8mm rifles, one 12-bore single barrel, three pistols, five revolvers, seven 32-bore revolvers, five crackers and 2,116 rounds of different types.




Rangers Spokesman has also appealed the nation to assist in eliminating the terrorist activities by informing the security forces on 03162369996 or on helpline 1101. He also assured to keep the name of informer secret.

Earlier, security forces also confiscated huge cache of weapons including four LMGs, two 8-mm rifles, five 12 bore pistols, two double barrel rifles, 44 bore rifle, triple-two rifle, Two pistols of 30 bore, two .22 rifle and three telescopes hidden underground at New Karachi school.
