Attack on media houses: SHC adjourns bail plea hearing till April 19
The court has summoned reply from the special public prosecutor and others.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday adjourned the hearing on bail plea of suspects involved in cases pertaining to attack on media houses, rebellion and terrorism.
The court combined all the pleas of the suspects which include Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM) leader Gulfaraz Khatak and MQM-London members Hassan Alim, Javed Shaukat and Faisal.
The court while adjourning the hearing till April 19 has summoned reply from the special public prosecutor and others.
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) had earlier rejected the bail plea of the three suspects.
According to Rangers’ lawyer, the suspects attacked media houses after the inflammatory speech of Altaf Hussain.
The attack killed one person and injured seven others.
