Sindh CM gave a three-day deadline to the federation.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah has threatened the federal government and Sui Southern of halting their gas supply if the province fails to receive their adequate share of gas.

While giving a three-day deadline to the federation, Sindh CM asserted in the assembly that the province is not even receiving their approved share of gas.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM) member Sardar Ahmad and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) supported Murad Ali Shah’s statement which was welcomed by the provincial government.

He said that the provision of gas to them is their right.

On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and other parties opposed Sindh CM’s warning.
Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah said that Khursheed Shah and Murad Ali Shah are making senseless statements due to pressure.

He said that Sindh government is doing politics while inducing fear of Punjab in public.

Sheikh Rasheed pronounced that federations and Sindh are making their own statements and politicizing the connection of gas and power.

Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Waseem Aftab said that statement will weaken the country and federation.
