CJ takes notice against private channel for airing vulgar songs
Chief Justice of Supreme Court ordered PEMRA Chairman to take action against the channel authorities
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Supreme Court Justice Saqib Nisar took notice against a private music entertainment channel for airing vulgar songs.
Justice Saqib Nisar ordered PEMRA Chairman Absar Alam to take strict measures against the private channel. He stated that action should be taken against the channel for violating electronic media code of conduct.
The notice was taken by the Supreme Court Chief Justice over a newspaper column.
The media watchdog had earlier issued a notice to private music channel for airing vulgar songs.
