Supreme Court hears Orange Line Train case

The provincial government assured all the safety measures to not harm historical places in Lahore.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed on Tuesday has said that metro bus in foreign countries has not harmed any historical building.
According to details, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed heard the Orange Line Train case in Supreme Court (SC) and said that the project has not destroyed any tower in other parts of the world.
Makhdoom Ali Khan said that the provincial government would ensure all the safety measures to not harm historical places in Lahore.

On the other hand, several delays have made it almost impossible for the Punjab government to stage inaugural ceremony for Lahore Orange Line Metro Project by April 2018.
Punjab government had re-tendered contract of 13.2 kilometer long Chauburji-Ali Town track titled as ‘Package-2’ to Zahir Khan & Brothers (ZKB) Reliable Group at 27pc higher rate.
