Commander Southern Command visits different areas of Quetta
The Southern Commander was also given detailed briefing on progress of census in Quetta
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Commander Southern Command, Lieutenant General Aamir Riaz, visited different areas of Quetta to oversee conduct of the census in progress, reported Dunya News.
At the occasion, he met various teams that were conducting the census process.
According to ISPR, the Southern Commander was also given detailed briefing on progress of census in Quetta.
Lieutenant General Aamir Riaz highlighted the importance of census during his discussion with the citizens.
He let it be known that the civil military staff would ensure the carrying out of unbiased census.
Meanwhile, Corps Commander Mangla General Umer Farooq also visited several areas of Faisalabad to oversee the conduct of census in Faisalabad area.
At the occasion, the corps commander was briefed by the representatives of Pak Army and Pakistan Bureau of Statistics at the occasion.
Lieutenant General Umer Farooq expressed his satisfaction over the peaceful conduct of census.
