Aseefa unmoved over Punjab govt's Hijab initiative
The PPP leader says awarding 5 marks to women doing Hijab is discriminatory against boys, minorities
LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aseefa Bhutto Zardari was on Tuesday unmoved with the announcement by Punjab Higher Education Minister Raza Ali Gillani that five extra marks will be awarded to women doing Hijab in college.
Quoting Dunya News’s tweet of the same news, Aseefa asked what the boys will do in such a scenario. She also asked what the students from minorities do about it. “Why does wearing a Hijab impact grades/marks?” was her question.
.... and what will the boys do? What will students of a different religion do? Why does wearing a Hijab impact grades/marks ?! https://t.co/kgxlPveRpG
