Pakistan summons Indian High Commissioner over alleged ceasefire violations
Protest was lodged to the Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh over ceasefire violations
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Foreign Office has on Tuesday summoned the Indian Deputy High Commissioner over alleged ceasefire violations by the Indian forces across the Line of Control (LoC), reported Dunya News.
The FO spokesperson revealed that severe protest was lodged to the Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh over alleged ceasefire violations by the Indian forces across LoC and the martyrdom of Pak Army soldiers as a result.
Director General South Asia Desk Dr Faisal handed over the protest letter to the Indian Deputy High Commissioner to Pakistan on the occasion.
It has been cleared out in the protest letter handed to the deputy high commissioner that India is constantly violating the ceasefire treaty across the Line of Control.
It is also worth mentioning that three Pakistani soldiers were martyred as a result of unprovoked firing by the Indian forces at Bhimber sector of Azad Kashmir.
