Security red alert has been issued in twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Security red alert was enforced in the federal capital Islamabad on Monday following the horrifying terror attack in Lahore, reported Dunya News.

Security arrangements have been strengthened at significant buildings including the parliament, Supreme Court and PM House. All entry and exit points are being surveilled by law enforcers.

According to the orders issued by Islamabad IG Tariq Masood Yasin, police officers will stay at their respective regions, strict checking at exit and entry points of federal capital as well as high security alert at important building will be maintained.

The deployment of troops of law enforcing agencies including police will be increased at significant places. On the other hand, security checking has also been increased in the twin city Rawalpindi.

The tragic Lahore blast at Charing Cross of Mall Road resulted in 13 deaths including eminent officials Traffic DIG and Police SSP and 86 injured. Moreover, three have been killed and nine wounded as bomb explodes on Quetta s Sariab Road
