Pakistan handed letter to Indian diplomat warning Modi govt against targeting civilian population

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Foreign Office on Wednesday summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner to Pakistan to record its protest against Line of Control (LOC) firing, reported Dunya News.

The Indian diplomat was handed the letter warning Modi government against targeting civilian population. India had showed aggression once again on the LOC and martyred one Pakistani civilian.

According to FO spokesperson, Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh was summoned to FO and handed the letter. India has been told to observe the 2003 ceasefire agreement and refrain from targeting civilian population.

25-year-old Ashfaq had died of Indian firing at LOC on Tuesday in Khoi Ratta sector.
