Court sends Hasan Zafar, Amjadullah of MQM London to prison
The court ordered the authorities to provide medical facilities to the accused in prison
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Administrative judge of Anti-Terrorism Courts (ATC) has sent representatives of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) London, Hasan Zafar and Amjadullah to jail on Wednesday.
After the two were presented before the court today, Sindh Police requested the judge to grant 14-day remand of the alleged criminals however, the plea was turned down.
Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA), MQM Pakistan’s Mehfooz Yar Khan reached the court to meet the two accused however, he fled the scene after learning that he was wanted in the same case.
The court ordered the authorities to provide medical facilities to the accused in prison.
Once the hearing concluded, counsels of the two discussed the cases with them in cafeteria of the high court. However, Amjadullah and Hasan Zafar were shifted to prison at 05:00pm.
The court has directed authorities concerned today to file challan of the case on January 3.
