Liquor sale surges in hotels as New Year night approaches
Permit-holders started stocking liquor, four Excise teams also established to act against bootleg
LAHORE: (Daily Dunya) – Liquor sale at the hotels in Lahore has seen a surge during the last few days as the New Year night is just round the corner. Permit-holders have already started stocking the bottles while four Excise teams have been set up to act against bootleg, reported Dunya News.
According to details, permit-holders have started stocking liquor in order to black it on the eve of the New Year. This has caused an increase in the sale of liquor in the hotels.
On the other hand, Excise officer Chaudhry Muzaffar Qayyum has formed four teams to act against the bootlegger groups.
