MQM putting up real fight against corruption, says Dr Sattar

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Dr Farooq Sattar, chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)-Pakistan has criticised Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Friday by alleging the political party of mere empty rhetoric against corruption.

While talking to the media Dr Sattar said that PPP’s anti-corruption movement is limited to ‘dining room’ and that the only purpose it is serving to the party is to hide its own corruption.

He said that the real fight against corruption was being put up by Muttahida Qaumi Movement. Dr Sattar has urged PPP to support MQM in its stand against corruption leaders.

Chief of MQM-Pakistan linked corruption with extremism when he said that elimination of terrorism would weed out corruption in the country.

He also said that National Action Plan (NAP) was not being implemented upon and that the responsibility lied with both the federation and the province.
