Major Gen Asif Ghafoor made new DG ISPR
One of the latest appointments in Pakistan Army makes Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor the new DG ISPR
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Major General Asif Ghafoor has been appointed as the new Directorate Gerneral (DG) of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday, reported Dunya News.
He is currently the Commander of Swat Division. He has succeeded Maj Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa who was recently given the position of Inspector General Arms at General Headquarters (GHQ).
Moreover, other postings made in Pakistan Army are stated as below:
• Maj Gen Abdullah Dogar has been appointed as the Commandant of Pakistan Military Academy (PMA).
• Maj Gen Syed Adnan has been appointed as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Lahore.
• Maj Gen Fida Malik has been made the DG Logistics at GHQ of Pak Army.
• Maj Gen Zafar Iqbal has been made the GOC arms at Gujranwala.
• Maj Gen Nadir Khan DG Personnel Services and Provost Marshal (PS and PM) at GHQ.
