Devotees complete preparations to celebrate the Birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) nationwide.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The devotees have completed their preparations at the birthday occasion of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Streets and cities all over the country have been lite up with festive lights.

The day of 12th Rabi ul Awal has special significance in the Islamic calendar. Muslims believe that God’s last Prophet (PBUH) was born on this day as a mercy on humanity. The followers of beloved Muhammad (PBUH) have spent the entire month illuminating their houses with lustrous lights while spreading rose petals in devotion.

Streets, marketplaces, buildings and mosques all present a seemingly delightful image across various cities including Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad. Young and old have gathered in large numbers to celebrate the occasion with great zeal.

Different organizations have arranged an event to highlight the qualities of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in his lifespan. Moreover, the attendees pass blessings by offering Darood Sharif. They pray for forgiveness under the shadow of their advocate, Muhammad (PBUH).

Special security arrangements have been made to safeguard the scheduled processions by different religious organizations in Karachi. The main procession will initiate from Bolton Market for which a security plan has been forwarded for Muhammad Ali Jinnah Road.

A cake weighing nineteen pounds was prepared in Chiniot using dried fruits and Desi Ghee that was praised by residents nearby.

Meanwhile, full proof security arrangements have been made for Eid Milad-un-Nabi across all cities. Lahore witnessed a special flag march by police in this respect.
