General Bajwa said that a zero-tolerance policy was in place against terrorism

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said directed on Tuesday to carry out indiscriminate operations against terrorists belonging to all banned organisations.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the army chief paid a visit to Southern Command in Quetta and was briefed over operational readiness of the troops to foil any aggression against the country.

In his address, the army chief paid rich tribute to the brave soldiers who have fought against the enemy on various fronts and sacrificed their lives to protect the sovereignty of Pakistan.

General Bajwa said that there was a zero-tolerance policy in place against terrorism.

He instructed for cooperation among intelligence agencies and law enforcement agencies to counter extremism and terror attacks in different cities.

He asserted that Pakistan Army would provide all possible support to all institutions in war on terror.

General Bajwa further said that foolproof security be provided to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and directed for speedy completion of development projects that are underway in Balochistan.
