One party trying to keep Pakistan backward through its politics: PM
The Prime Minister regretted that some political parties are doing politics of 90s.
ASHGABAT (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said the country will move backward instead of progressing due to one political party’s actions.
Speaking to media in Ashgabat, the Prime Minister regretted that some political parties are doing politics of 1990.
He said the PML-N did not create any hurdle in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) path in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and they were allowed to form the government there.
Nawaz Sharif said his party participated in elections under the General (r) Pervez Musharraf’s interim government and accepted the results wholeheartedly.
We never raised hue and cry about election rigging, he added.
The Prime Minister further stressed that he never took any step that would derail democracy or harm the country.
