Ibad in farewell meetings, Saaed uz-Zaman Siddiqui to take oath tomorrow

Ishratul Ibad also met Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah, told him he was sure Sindh would prosper under him

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad is in his farewell meetings today as the new governor Justice (r) Saeed uz-Zaman Siddiqui is going to take his oath tomorrow (Friday). Emotional scenes were seen as Ibad met the staff of the Governor House, reported Dunya News.

In his final meeting with Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah as Governor, Ibad said that he was sure the province would prosper under the CM’s able leadership. He also hoped that Sindh will make progress by leaps and bounds with a comprehensive vision of the CM and timely completion of development and welfare projects.



Sindh CM said on the occasion that he learnt a lot from Dr Ibad. “We were together for a very short period but Governor gave good guidance”, he said. He added that Dr Ishratul Ibad made prominent efforts for progress of the province.

Earlier, staff members of Governor House also met Dr Ishratul Ibad. They bade farewell to the outgoing governor with teary eyes.

On the other hand, the oath-taking ceremony of the new governor Justice (r) Saeed uz-Zaman Siddiqui was postponed till 10:30 am on Friday.
