Rawalpindi bench of Lahore High Court has allowed the private students to appear in the annual examination of secondary school certificate (SSC) Part-I with science subject.In a petition filed by All Pakistan Private School Management, it was argued that a lot of students would be deprived of better education if not allowed to sit in science subjects. Justice Mehmood Sheikh of High Court Rawalpindi bench give his ruling on the case and sought a reply from the chairmen of 8 educational boards by February. The court waived the ban on private students aspiring to appear in science subjects and allowed the private students of 9th class desiring to appear in science subjects and the relevant practical tests to sit in the annual examination following the part II in 2011.The court also ordered the boards to accept the forms by the private candidates till the second order.
