Mirza accuses ANP, Sunni Tehreek, Muttahida behind Karachi target killings

Zulfikar Mirza has ruled out involvement of foreign forces in the incidents of target killings in Karachi. He said that all political parties were involved in Karachi target killings and bhatta khori. He said that ANP, Sunni Tehreek and Mutahida were responsible for destroying the peace of Karachi. Addressing the members of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Mirza said that at least 26 suspects of target killings had affiliation with the biggest party of Sindh. The minister also blamed the business community who were paying bhatta to the extortionists. Talking to Dunya News, ANPs Shahi Syed said that no ANP activist or member was involved in target killings in Karachi. He said that forces should be empowered to arrest all those involved in bhatta khori. When asked about PPPs involvement in target killings and bhatta khori, Shahi Syed replied that they were not angels. He said that grand operation should be launched in Karachi. Sunni Tehreeks Shakil Qadri said that it was Zulfikar Mirzas habit to issue such statements and this time, it was necessary to give such remarks to approve RGST. He said that those named by Zulfikar Mirza should be arrested. MQM leader Waseem Aftab said that MQM always asked to disarm Karachi city. He said that Zulfikar Mirza issued an irresponsible statement and Mirza always created troubles for PPP. He said that there was utmost need to correct the direction of ANP to establish peace in the city.
