Karachi Express engine derails near Khanewal
Passengers of the train remained safe as the train was approaching the station at very slow speed.
KHANEWAL (Dunya News) - Karachi Express escaped a major disaster when its engine derailed near Khanewal Railway Station on Thurday, Dunya News reported.
The Karachi Express was going to Karachi from Lahore. Sources said that all passengers of the train remained safe as the train was approaching the station at very slow speed.
Railway authorities arranged another engine and Karachi Express left for Karachi from Khanewal.
Meanwhile, Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has taken notice of the incident and ordered an enquiry.
