LHC seeks govt's reply on TV fee in electricity bills
PTV is illegally collecting Rs 35 through electricity bills, the petitioner stated.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday directed the Federal Government and other respondents to submit their replies till October 25 on a petition regarding collection of television license fee that inflate electricity bills.
The petitioner informed the court that PTV is illegally collecting Rs 35 through electricity bills.
Meanwhile, PTV’s counsel told court that the channel has the right to collect fee under Telegraph and Wireless Act 1970.
