CTD foiled a major terror bid in Multan and arrested four terrorists.
MULTAN (Dunya News) - Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has foiled a major terrorism bid in Multan on Friday and arrested four terrorists, including two women, Dunya News reported. A six-year-old girl was also taken into protective custody during operation.
According to details, the CTD personnel on a tip-off stopped a car im Jahangirabad area near Multan and recovered nine kilograms of explosive material, 13 detonators and a large quantity of arms and arrested four persons. Two women were among the arrested persons. The CTD officials have also taken a six-year-old girl into protective custody.
The CTD sources said that the explosive material was being smuggled from Khanewal to Multan to carry out terrorist activities.
