CM Punjab reaches Istanbul

CM Punjab reached Istanbul on Thursday on special invitation of Turk President Tayyip Erdogan.
ISTANBUL (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif, reached Istanbul on Thursday on special invitation of Turk President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Dunya News reported.
Shehbaz Sharif and members of his delegation were received by top government officials at the Istanbul Airport. The Pakistani delegation offered Fateha for the Turkish people who lost their lives during a failed coup attempt in Turkey.
In the evening, mayor of Istanbul, Kadir Topbas hosted a dinner in honor of CM Shahbaz Sharif and his delegation. Speaking on the occasion Shahbaz Sharif said that the Turkish people have offered great sacrifices to save the democracy.
He further said that historic, cultural and brotherly relations exist between Pakistan and Turkey and there is a strong bond of mutual respect and affection between the two countries.
